Wizard and Witch Pagan Website

About Us

Where it all began

lyn2Wizard &Witch started life in 2003 as All About Tarot but last year we decided that we really weren’t just all about Tarot.  We walk a Pagan path and incorporate that in our daily life so we changed the name of the site to Wizard & Witch.  This site is all about how we can help you get more out of life – psychic consultations (to help steer you on the right track), magickal consultations (to help you get what you want) and resources for learning magickal arts (so you can develop & grow).

On a personal level, Paul and I met in 2002 through an online Tarot reading.  Our friendship quickly turned into romance and it didn’t take us long to realise our souls were connected.  So we battled the challenges of online relationships and UK immigration to be married on Valentine’s Day 2004.  Our daughter, Tabitha Rose, was born November 2007.

Where we are now

Paul and I live in Hampshire (near Portsmouth). We have an already full house with us, 2 sons Daniel & Jake (aged 10 & 9), toddler Tabitha plus an energetic Lurcher who resembles a whippet when wet and a fluff ball when dry. As an untraditional family, there are also 3 children in America to add to our family :-)

Photos from 2008 – Time flies!!

Our life together has been a whirlwind from the time we met and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down any!! Both Paul and I are qualified complementary therapists and we run a successful healing practice but are moving towards providing more spiritual services.  I also have a background in IT and Secretarial Skills so, with Paul as my partner, I run a Virtual Assistant company but this is more on a part time basis these days.   We enjoy balancing all of our skills with our love of the metaphysical.

To any one that visits us at home it’s clear to see that our passions lie in both the healing arts and the magickal world just by looking at our book shelves! Our everyday life is filled with magick of one sort of another (don’t worry though it’s never black). I enjoy spending time in the kitchen and pride myself on being a kitchen witch :-) Paul jokes that I’m the UK version of Betty Crocker! Paul joins me regularly in the kitchen to cook family dinners but you’re just as likely to find him with his nose in a book researching or writing at his computer.

We have an impressive collection of Tarot decks – I think we’re up to about 70 now but to be honest I’ve lost count. We also have oodles of oracles, countless pendulums and crystals galore. Everything we own, we use (although not all at once!).

What do we do when we have time to relax? Well, we both enjoy reading and  enjoy a good fiction book with a metaphysical slant.  Some of our favourite authors are Jim Butcher, Kim Harrison, Laurel K. Hamilton, Kelley Armstrong and Janet Evanovich.  I like to read crime mysteries too and Paul has a soft spot for Terry Pratchett.  We read just about anything to do with the Craft, paranormal and healing arts. We also like board games, puzzles and we’re (still) trying really hard to master Sudokos!

Given the opportunity we head outside whatever the weather. We enjoy walking and relish the time spent in nature – that’s where we easily find beauty and magick.  We’re only 5 minutes away from the sea so we’re often walking along the beach picking up shells or hag stones. I love taking photos and try not to go anywhere without a camera.  Below is a photo I took of the Solent in spring time just before dusk.

Where we’re going

We’re really pleased that Wizard & Witch is going from strength to strength.  We have courses planned for later this year and an online school is being developed. I have a book on Tarot which I’m currently putting the finishing touches to – this will compliment my new Tarot course.

Our goal is to continue to make this website a fantastic place for you to get solid information and good advice.

On a personal note, we don’t have any plans to move away from Hampshire (we moved from London in 2007) as we really love where we live.  So we’re staying put!  Although we’d like another home in France – that’s on our manifestation list and we’re learning French to help the process along!!  I’m about to sign up for Egyptian Belly Dancing classes that start in September.  Oh, we have a few more Tarot decks we’d like to add to our collection!

Brightest of Blessings

Lyn
