The card I’ve drawn today is the 3 of Swords. The keywords for this card are loneliness, heartbreak and betrayal.
The 3 of Swords is probably one of the gloomiest cards in the Tarot. In most Tarot decks the image with this card is a heart with 3 swords piercing through it. It’s quite difficult, but not impossible, to put a positive spin on this card. However, it’s probably likely that at some point today intense feelings leave you feeling a little sad and wiped out.
If there is a situation in your life which is causing you pain then today you should consider whether it’s in your best interest to hang on to it. This could be a job, a relationship or even financial investments. Sometimes we’d rather hold onto something that hurts us rather than face the challenges and changes that occur once we’ve let it go. It’s never easy to do but it does get easier over time and the heartache or pain will ease. It can’t fade if you constantly hold onto it every day.
In work be prepared to have some difficult decisions thrown at you today. You may be in a managerial position and need to make cut backs or have your ideas rejected which means you have to go back to the drawing board.
It’s not really a day to move forward with relationships either. If you’re unhappily in with a partner and this is a long term feeling then perhaps you need to work out whether you are really in the right relationship. If you’re single, don’t get your expectations up – there are definitely better days to find love.
