The Death card is probably the most feared card in the deck. However, it usually symbolizes change coming your way. Some Tarot decks have called this card ‘transition’ or ‘transformation’ to soften the name of the card.

When this card appears in readings it means you’re in for some changes. There are areas of your life that can no longer remain the same and whether you want it or not the Universe is pushing things along to a conclusion. Although change can be really scary, you must remember that the end of one thing as we know it means an opportunity for something new to come along. If we embrace life more as an adventure and embrace new opportunities the Death card is a little less scary.

As the whole theme of this card is transition, you’ll find today that you may receive some unexpected news regarding finances. It probably won’t be the positive news you’ve been waiting for but it will release you from the uncertainty of all of those ‘what if’s and ‘might be’s. News that gives you a definite yes or no breaks you from these chains and allows you to get on with your life.

There is a very strong masculine energy around today and you’ll find yourself being called to take charge of situations. You may not be comfortable in the role of leader but you have to at least appear in control – others will be relying on you to maintain order. This could be anything from taking the lead in a meeting at work or making sure the kids don’t run rings around you. Take the energy of today and show them who’s boss!!

Just as you may be called to take control, make sure that others don’t try to take control of you. Know your boundaries today and stick to them. Make sure you’re in control of your own life and not being controlled by someone else.
