Last Sunday we went to Bishops Waltham Palace. It’s the ruins of a medieval palace used by the Bishops and clergy of nearby Winchester as they travelled around their diocese. It was built in 1135 but mostly destroyed in the 1160s but rebuilt again as luxury accomodation (with moat!). A lot of re-building took place in the 1300s by Wykeham, the Bishop of Winchester. During the Civil War the palace was damaged and left to fall into disrepair.
As we wandered around I was doing the typical tourist thing and snapping pictures. When we got to the ruins of the Bishop’s private apartments I notice a strange light on my view finder. I took a photo, called Paul over to show him then snapped another photo. There was maybe a gap of 3 minutes in between shots. These are the photos I took.

The photos both before and after didn’t have any anomaly. When I took these photos I only noticed the big blue light but if you look at the photo there are 2 other lights hovering above.
