How Can I Guarantee That He Will Come Back To Me?

Dear Agony wizard,

I have a question about my love life. You see, I have a boyfriend of about a year and he goes to college next year while I will have 1 year left of highschool. We are really comfortable with each other and we are very much in love. However, I already know we will not be together next year. I want him to have fun and experiment, but I want him to want me to go to college with him when I graduate from highschool. I want him to realize how much he loves me and wants to be with me forever. How do i make him realize that I am the one for him? How do I get him to come back to me?

Dear Crazy in Love,

Before I answer your question, I want to tell you how much I appreciate your mature understanding. The fact you understand that freedom is one of the most important factors in a relationship speaks volumes about you. Your boyfriend is fortunate.

There is powerful magick you could use to bind him to you, but using it is unadvisable for two reasons:

1. A binding would make it impossible for you to tell if his feelings for you were only products of the spell.
2. If he ever found out he would resent you for it and the relationship would be over.

Short of this there’s absolutely no way that you can guarantee he’ll come back to you once he begins experimenting. There are, however, two things that I can advise that will greatly tilt the scales in your favour:

1. Starting Now- Make sure that you continue to make every minute that the two of you spend together special. Done properly, these special times will fill his mind and make it difficult for him to think about other women on a serious level. He will find himself comparing all the others to you and finding that they fall short.
2. After he leaves-Each night before you go to sleep light a red candle, lay a picture of the two of you beside if, and chant the following three times:

   With the deepest of loves I have set you free
   Wherever you are let your thoughts return to me

   Then spend fifteen minutes visualising the two of you in each other’s arms. Hear him say, “I love you” and feel the warmth of his body.

   After fifteen minutes blow out the candle and let the magick work.
