Enjoy my Tarot ‘horoscope’ card of the day. Today it’s the Queen of Swords
[display_podcast]
The card I’ve drawn today is the Queen of Swords. This card is one of the court cards and can be read either as another person in your life or the energy that you need to take on today. For this reading I’m interpreting the Queen of Swords as the latter.
This queen is the matriarch of the air element. She is typically witty, forthright and astute. These are the qualities you should harness to make the most of today.
The Queen of Swords is the no-nonsense woman of the Tarot. She quick witted, intelligent and you probably wouldn’t want to get on the wrong side of her. She likes a lively debate and has the mental agility to come out the victor. Are you ready to take up the challenge of this card today?
At work it’s important you keep a professional approach even if others think you are being cold and distant. It’s by acting in this manner you’ll escape any office dramas or internal politics. You may really, really want to give your opinions and get stuck into the middle of things but you’ll do better by keeping quiet with a knowing smile on your face. It is a great day, however, to exercise your sharp mind so look for opportunities at work where you can make the most of your skills.
In relationships you’re in a no retreat, no surrender kind of mood. You want things how you want them and your partner can either take it or leave it. This might be a shock for your significant other who may not be used to such an assertive you! If you’re single then there’s the possibility of finding yourself attracted to someone because of their intelligence and wit rather than their physical appearance.
